The Ministry of Highways is seeking a highly motivated individual with excellent engineering, interpersonal and consultative skills to join the Operation and Maintenance group in Southern Operations located in Regina.
As an Operations Project Manager, you will contribute to the planning, preservation and operations of the Saskatchewan highway system. The successful candidate will serve as an integral team member responsible for planning and operating the transportation system.
You will have the ability to examine and appropriately provide information to the general public on such issues as traffic policies and standards and traffic operations; have knowledge of traffic, hydraulic, geometric design, construction engineering principles and methodologies; and have the ability to access, enter, update and maintain data.
To qualify for this position, you must be have a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering from an accredited university and be eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer or Engineer-in-Training with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS), OR a two-year degree/diploma in engineering or geoscience technology and be eligible for registration as a Technology Professionals Saskatchewan (TPS) and have eight years related work experience.
