JOB SUMMARY:
A Maintenance Tech is responsible for working in a fast-paced environment to perform a variety of highly diverse duties such as trouble shooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment according to safety predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes that support the achievement of Android’s business goals and objectives.

This Maintenance Technician will work a straight night shift (10:30 pm – 6:30 am)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: PneumaticsControlsPreventative maintenanceShift start upInter-team CommunicationWork with minimal supervisionEnsure all machinery is functional for productionAnalyze and measure machinery performanceContinual Improvement ActivitiesInternal process auditsRespond to maintenance calls to the lineTrouble-shoot equipment problems/issuesAnalyze machine performance and recommend improvement processesPreventative maintenanceRespond to maintenance calls to the lineRepair broken/defective equipmentEnsure safety procedures are followed, including but not limited to, lockout /tagout, working at heights.Maintaining a clean and safe work environmentParts inventoryReport out any continuous improvementDocument process improvementsTracking any production downtimeWork overtime as requiredAll other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Licensed ElectricianExperience: 2+ years working in a production environmentTechnical certification preferred in one of the following fields: electrical, robotic, mechanical, and or fabrication

TRAVEL: Travel Required: minimum

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Robotics, mechanical, welding, electrical knowledge. Experience reading and interpreting blueprint/schematics, Forklift/Scissor lift Certification. Mechanical skills, ability to work from heights, mechanical safety requirements, strong mechanical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Basic understanding of building maintenance. Ability to read and understand building schematics, strong oral and written communication skills. Acts as an independent leader and also transitions to a team player when needed.
