Please note this role is a 14-month contract for a Maternity leave, benefits will be provided.
As Procurement Administrator you:
- Process purchasing requests and requisitions from field staff, coordinators and account executives.
- Assist account executives with current market pricing for client proposals.
- Work with vendors and field teams to source electrical parts
- Oversee material requests from site foremen for day-to-day material.
- Identify and resolve and follow up on any discrepancies between involved parties, technicians, dispatch, supplier
- Update PO cost for monthly billing deadlines
- Process credits, returns and warranty issues
- Coordinate with site team, coordinators and vendors to ensure material is delivered properly and on time.
- Monitor performance of vendors to ensure minimal back orders and on-time delivery.
- Resolve invoice issues that may be missing information
- Provide additional administrative support as needed
Our ideal candidate has:
- A degree/diploma from a University or College Program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Purchasing, Business Administration or relevant educational background.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of or exposure to ERP systems, an asset.
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment, can proactively multi-task and manage multiple priorities and requests.
