Assistant Manager (Part-Time) – Dancewear Centre

Toronto, ON | minimum 3 days/week (weekend availability)

We’re looking for an upbeat, motivated Assistant Manager to support daily store operations, coach our amazing staff, and deliver standout customer experiences. If you’re passionate about dance, love retail, and thrive in a positive, team-focused environment—you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Do:

• Help lead day-to-day store operations
• Train, support, and motivate our retail team
• Ensure exceptional customer service every time
• Oversee product presentation and store upkeep
• Jump in to solve problems, delegate tasks, and meet goals
• Keep product knowledge fresh and relevant
• Support management with policy updates and team development
• Bring new ideas to enhance store vibe and efficiency

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of dance experience, including 2+ years of pointe
• 2+ years of retail experience in a leadership role
• Degree or equivalent experience
• Strong leadership, communication & problem-solving skills
• Passion for dance, current fashion, and healthy living
• Positive, team-first attitude

Experience:

• Retail Management: 1 year (preferred)
• Pointe: 2 years (required)
• Dance: 5 years (required)
• Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
