The Opportunity:
For Sunwing Vacations, we are looking for a Costings Manager to support our WestJet Vacations brand to join us in making vacation dreams come true. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the team that manages all product builds within the reservation system, ensuring accuracy, availability, and timely updates. The Costings Manager will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence by meeting deadlines and aligning with business processes. Reporting to the Director, Product Support, this position is based in Toronto or Calgary.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead a detail-oriented, goal-driven Costing Coordinator team.
  • Responsible for full-cycle recruitment efforts, including interviews and hiring; support onboarding and training.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to ensure accuracy and development.
  • Review and verify tasks for accuracy; provide corrective coaching as needed.
  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all Costings-related projects, including development, testing, implementation, and cross-departmental training.
  • Continuously assess and optimize processes for efficiency and accuracy; implement new procedures as needed.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple deadlines to meet overall business needs.
  • Maintain and update all Costings-related components within the reservation system.
  • Ensure accurate and timely product availability across all distribution channels.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies, errors, or omissions in product listings.
  • Coordinate with SoftVoyage to map and display new or updated products for web distribution.
  • Liaise with Product, Payload, and Marketing teams to implement specials and promotions.
  • Set up and maintain deposit and cancellation parameters, air taxes, and flight schedules.
  • Serve as the primary contact for Payload regarding flight changes, pricing, and availability.
  • Collaborate with departments including Sales Centre, Groups, Customer Relations, Flight Operations, Inventory, Product, Finance, and Payload to resolve system issues and booking discrepancies.
  • Lead the implementation and troubleshooting of interface-connected hotels.
  • Test department functions during system upgrades, ensuring full test scripts are executed and daily operations remain unaffected.
  • Provide expert problem-solving support across departments for system-related issues, including manual booking adjustments and inventory challenges.
  • Oversee the destination team that completes booking updates for passengers making changes while in destination, and ensure timely and effective resolutions
  • Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need:

  • 3-4 years of experience in the travel industry.
  • 2-3Years of previous supervisory experience.
  • Proven organizational, multi-tasking, problem-solving, and time management skills are essential.
  • Must have experience working in a confidential and detail-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of Soft Voyage / TTS is an asset.
  • Knowledge of the Product Contracting System (PCS) is an asset.
  • Skilled with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word).
