The team at Creekside Dental Clinic in the beautiful city of Kelowna, BC, is seeking a passionate and experienced Dental Administrative Lead to join us full-time.

Creekside Dental Clinic is located in the heart of Kelowna, the largest city in the stunning Okanagan Region of British Columbia. Our clinic has been established for over 30 years, proudly serving a loyal patient base of more than 12,000 active patients in a 21-operatory practice.

Key Duties & Responsibilities but not limited to:

  • Ensure processes and systems set by supervisor are followed and done to completion
  • Build admin schedule and assist in building overall office schedule based on needs of the practice
  • Monitor administrative KPI's, including but not limited to treatment plans, unscheduled treatment, and overdue recalls followed up on and booked, schedule is full/minimal downtime %, monitor pre-booking rates, etc.
  • Run admin team meetings and 1:1's with admin team members
  • Working front desk as needed, assist in treatment coordination
  • Working with supervisor regularly and on a weekly basis to discuss areas of opportunity and focus points
  • Assist in re-structuring administrative processes as need to enhance efficiency and productivity of clinic
  • Interview potential new hires for the administrative team and assist in performing regular performance reviews

SCHEDULE:

  • 40 hours per week with working hours of 8am-4pm or 12pm-8pm
  • Tues-Sat or Mon-Fri

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • 2 to 5+ years of experience is required in dental office management and/or dental administration
  • Experience with dental practice management software such as Dentrix is considered an asset
  • Highly proficient in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook)
  • Strong written and communication skills when speaking with patients and dental providers
  • Strong knowledge of medical and dental terminology and processes
  • Experience maintaining a professional level of patient privacy
  • Demonstrated experience managing budgets, and other financial transactions
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
  • Customer service mindset
