THE POSITION

CSEC is seeking a strategic, creative, and results-driven marketing professional with a passion for sports, entertainment, and storytelling to join their dynamic team.

The Manager, Fan Engagement you will oversee execution of the organization’s customer growth strategy and data acquisition tactics, focusing on customer relationship building to foster loyalty and engagement to create customer advocacy for our brands.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you’ll work with a team of Fan Engagement Specialists and Coordinators to oversee the admin and promotion of the organization’s membership rewards program, develop and execute promotional content and activations, grow brand recognition of the organizations non-team business units, increase the marketable fan database and be a key stakeholder in customer data collection and governance.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Oversee the launch and execution of a new membership rewards program awareness campaign and maintain goals for participation. Lead the admin and customer service of the program as required.

  • Manage the consistent execution of tactics to collect marketable fan data and marketing explicit opt-ins, including interactive games, contests, and live event activations across CSEC brands

  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including the Director of Marketing to develop and implement a schedule of campaigns and activations for each season to effectively meet marketable fan, data acquisition and promotional goals.

  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to help achieve their goals

  • Maintain campaign management using our project management platform of choice (Monday.com), ensuring timely execution.

  • Work collaboratively with the Data Analytics team, to develop tactics to gather customer data to continue to enrich our data warehouse

  • Steward all marketable fan email databases and oversee content in weekly newsletters. Collaborate with the integrated marketing team and sponsorship to effectively deliver campaigns to our marketable fan databases.

  • Oversee the growth of all Venue & Event related social channels and direct promotional support for event awareness and ticket sales.

  • Oversee the growth of all Retail related social channels, websites and direct promotional support for online sales.

  • Actively participate in safety programs and follow polices;

  • All other duties as assigned.

THE INDIVIDUAL

The ideal individual will have the following background:

  • 5+ years of experience in brand marketing, digital marketing, growth marketing or data & analytics will be preferred
  • Experience in brand loyalty, rewards programs and data driven marketing is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy, digital marketing, data & analytics, and customer engagement;
  • Ability to be a team player, to build relationships with colleagues and collaborate with teams across various company departments to bring branding goals and objectives to life;
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and deliver measurable results;
  • Strong understanding of digital and social media platforms;
  • Understanding of email marketing platforms;
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills;

CERTIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Data or relevant field, preferred.
