Business Analyst – Capacity & Demand Planning (On-Site | Regina, SK | 8-Month Contract)
Location: Regina, Saskatchewan (On-Site – some hybrid flexibility)
Start Date: August 6, 2025
Duration: 8 months (possibility of extension)
Work Authorization: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada (Citizenship or valid Work Permit required)
About the Role
We’re hiring an experienced Business Analyst to join our Strategy Realization Office in Regina, SK. You’ll play a key role in enabling balanced project portfolio planning by developing and refining enterprise-wide capacity and demand models , aligning organizational capability with initiative requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain models to forecast and balance organizational capacity and project demand.
- Analyze utilization trends and resource forecasts across IT, Data, Operations, and Business units.
- Collaborate with Portfolio Managers and Sponsors to validate planning assumptions.
- Integrate capacity planning into intake and prioritization processes.
- Deliver clear, data-driven dashboards and executive summaries.
- Ensure alignment with Finance and HR regarding FTEs, roles, and budget.
- Support scenario modeling and trade-off analysis for shifting priorities.
Mandatory Requirements
✅ 5+ years of Business Analyst experience, preferably in Strategic Planning, Portfolio Management, or PMO.
✅ Proven experience with capacity and resource planning models.
✅ Strong data analysis skills across departments (IT, operations, corporate functions).
✅ Proficiency in Excel (advanced) and Power BI or other visualization/reporting tools.
✅ Must be able to work on-site at the Regina office (with limited hybrid flexibility).
✅ Must be legally eligible to work in Canada .
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in insurance, finance, or regulated industries.
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
- Knowledge of project portfolio management tools.
- Understanding of organizational design and workforce planning.
