Job Description We’re looking for a Financial Analyst (12-Month Contract) to contribute to meaningful work across our iconic retail banners—Winners, HomeSense, and Marshalls. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting both the Finance and Merchandise Planning & Analysis departments by preparing and analyzing Gross Margin, Inventory performance. What You’ll Do
- Prepare and publish weekly and monthly reporting (Margin, Inventory Statistics, Mark On, Markdowns, Shrink) for use by Senior Management.
- Participate in the annual and long-range planning and monthly rolling plan processes, forecasting Gross Margin and Inventory components and through effective analysis of historical information.
- Partners with various functional areas such as: Merchandise Payables, Business Planning & Analysis, Logistics while adhering to tight timelines.
- Develops, maintains databases and mainframe downloads to enhance the manipulation of data and subsequent analysis.
About You
- A post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. Commerce, Economics, Finance/Accounting, Mathematics). Working towards a related designation (i.e. CPA) is considered an asset.
- Minimum 2 – 4 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in Inventory/Gross Margin and in a retail industry
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, in particular the analysis features of these programs
- Knowledge of database design/manipulation concepts and proven analytical skills.

Salary Range: $60,082.50-$84,115.50 /year *This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
