What you will do:
Erikson Consumer, a division of JAM, is growing and as a result looking to make several additions to the team. We are looking for good people who can bring high quality work to our team and are “A” players at the top of their game!

We are currently seeking a Key Account Sales Manager – based remotely, reporting to our Sales Director. The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling and managing our Consumer portfolio within the retail channels.

Responsibilities:

  • Targeting and expanding new and existing retailers.
  • Managing and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Performing retail training seminars.
  • Retail merchandise planning.
  • Coordinating retail promotions when needed.
  • Work with retail portals and internal systems.
  • Following up on retail leads, opportunities, and new retail customers.
  • Manage and attend trade shows and sales meetings, as required.
  • Actively participate in frequent conference calls and sales meetings.
  • Responsible for reporting back to head office on retail account sell through, inventory levels, and general state of business.

What we are looking for:

  • To be successful in the role, a strong candidate MUST live for the love for building sales! Key qualities that demonstrate this are:
  • A passion for challenge, strong analytical and strategic selling skills as well as proven leadership capabilities and relationship building attributes.
  • A history of identifying retail opportunities, achieving stretch plans, and creating solid win-win solutions to deliver against goals in order to build the business.
  • A charismatic, outgoing attitude; you love meeting new retailers and can cater to all demographics.
  • A relentlessly positive attitude with a willingness to build upon retail relationships already established and present opportunities to new accounts.
  • Minimum 2 years of Account Management with sales experience.
  • Strong knowledge of territory and consumer retailers.
  • Experience with, and a strong commitment to customer service.
  • Able to work closely with management.
  • Experience in building new retail growth.
