Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) currently has an exciting opportunity for a Consultant, Regional Sales Planning & Analytics - Team Lead to join our Sales & Inventory Planning department. This is a full-time position and will report to the Manager, Sales Strategy & Planning.

The successful candidate is accountable for leading and optimizing regional and dealer-level sales planning for Toyota and Lexus, ensuring alignment with national objectives and enhancing field execution. The position plays a key role in taking cate of the annual ADRO process, assisting Zones and DSSO with tools and insights to track dealer performance, and ensuring sales plans drive effective vehicle allocation. It acts as a strategic link between Sales Planning, DSSO, Inventory Planning, and field operations, while also monitoring the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) system to ensure it functions as a reliable tool aiding regional planning outcomes.

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Regional Sales Plan: Lead Regional Sales Planning objectives; Monitor and refine Zone and Dealer-level sales plans to ensure alignment with Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) objectives. Collaborate with Inventory Planning to ensure Dealer-level plans aid ideal allocation outcomes
  • ADRO : Spearhead the annual ADRO process, driving continuous improvement and overseeing regional and dealer-level messaging
  • Compliance Alignment: Translate regulatory and compliance-driven decisions from long/short-term planning teams into actionable regional and dealer-level sales strategies
  • IBP Oversight: Oversee and monitor the IBP tool to ensure it effectively helps regional and dealer-level planning. Investigate discrepancies in data outputs, coordinate with the IBP team, and manage PLM setup for new and existing models
  • Field Support & Tools: Continue developing tools and resources to help field staff track dealer performance against annual sales objectives. Provide actionable insights to assist regional planning implementation
  • DSSO & Zone Collaboration: Strengthen ongoing communication with DSSO, Zones, and Lexus teams. Aid in inquiries related to dealer plans, allocation methodologies, sold order fulfillment, and planning assumptions
  • System & Process Enhancements: Partner with Information Services and relevant teams on enhancements to sales applications and planning tools, ensuring alignment with field needs and planning methodology
  • Communication & Reporting: Support regular Zone/Lexus calls and key internal/external events (e.g., SMAG, Field Conferences) with timely updates on planning progress, ADRO timelines, SAP updates, and other strategic initiatives
  • Market Planning Insights: Assess changes at the series/segment level to refine planning decisions, enhance competitiveness, and help with broader market strategies
  • Team Leadership: Improve team efficiency by identifying and implementing process enhancements, while actively fostering strong working relationships between the team and key stakeholders to aid collaboration and shared goals

What You’ll Bring:

  • University Degree and/or College Diploma in Business Administration, Automotive Studies, or related disciplines
  • Minimum 4 years of Automotive Experience
  • Previous experience working in a field sales role is a strong asset
  • Automotive Retail Experience is a benefit
  • Knowledge of how to work on multiple projects simultaneously with autonomy
  • Strong communication (written & oral), with detailed & process-oriented techniques
  • Leadership abilities with skill set related to influencing and driving change
  • Analytical mindset with ability to balance qualitative & quantitative elements
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel required
