About the role
Role: Senior Systems Testing/QA Specialist
Location: Toronto, ON
Duration: 1 year plus
Hybrid: 3 days work from office and 2 days work from home
QA experience:
- 10+ years of experience with DevOps/Agile/Scrum Methodology working with Web and Mobile technologies, as well as different OS/Platforms
- 10+ years of experience with different manual testing types: Systems testing, Mobile, AODA and UAT testing (must have)
- Solid experience creating Test Strategy/Test Plan document
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with BRD: analyzing business requirements and creating test data requirements (must have)
- Extensive experience with preparing detailed Test Cases, Test Scenarios, User Stories and Test data requirements
- Proven experience with identifying bugs in software; excellent ability to document and explain bugs/issues to Dev and business teams
- Solid experience with triaging defects, participating and leading triage meetings, and producing defect summary reports
Technical experience:
- Hands on extensive experience with DevOps
- Experience creating test cases, user stories, and test scenarios in DevOps
- Testing tools and techniques:
- AODA – JAWS, VoiceOver or other industry leading tools (must have)
Project experience:
- Previous experience with Driver, Vehicle and Digital Dealership Registration services in Service Ontario web portal (must have)
- Experience with Canada Post Address module, Web Content Management and Government Payment Gateways (must have)
- Experience with statistics tools, e.g. Google Analytics and Crystal reports (must have)
AODA experience:
- Comprehensive Knowledge of WCAG 2.0 success criteria for level A, AA
- Extensive hands-on experience with Techniques, Methodology, tools to test accessibility for web and mobile applications (must have)
- Hands-on experience with accessibility testing using keyboard only, as well as via industry leading assistive technology tools (must have)
- Experience testing PDFs, Word documents for accessibility (must have)
- Experience generating AODA testing reports (must have)
