About the role
WELL Health – Courtenay puts patients and their family’s health first. We are committed to empowering patients with care that results in improved health outcomes. Our clinic is located near the entrance to Walmart in the Smart Centres Courtenay Plaza. This clinic serves the local Comox Valley community, offering walk-in services six days a week with no appointment necessary. Our other services include Marine Physicals.
This has recently been a revitalized, up and coming trending neighbourhood with new young families in a mature community. This is a location that is highly desired due to the proximity and convenience in a small community for everything you need.
Our Courtenay location is a multi-disciplinary and multi-physician clinic with a very collegiate atmosphere and a physician focused MOA support team. The clinic also provides virtual and telehealth options which can be accessed at home.
The ideal physician would be able to provide full-scope family practice either full-time or part-time. This position may have the option for a small walk-in component. The WELL Health team will work closely with you to ensure there is a smooth transition of the practice. You can expect flexible hours and would be masters of your own schedule. You will have the opportunity to work the way you want!
Start Date As soon as possible
Benefits May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including:
- Recruitment Incentive: $10,000 (full-time)
- Relocation Costs Reimbursement: up to $15,000 (amount based on location relocating from)
- Fee Premium: 6.93%
- Annual Flat Fee: $10,739.52
- Rural CME: starting at $2,200.00/annum in year 3 & 4 to a maximum of $4,400.00/annum after 4 years.
