Position Title: Actuarial Analyst/Associate – Individual Pricing
Reports to: Director, Individual Pricing
Department: Individual Pricing
Term: Permanent Full-Time
Work Arrangements: This is a hybrid role. You will work in our office in Waterloo, ON a minimum of two (2) assigned, consecutive days every other week, plus a fifth (5th) assigned day per month. You are welcome to work from the office more than the minimum requirement and there may be some roles that are required to work in our office more than the minimum requirement.

Reporting to the Director, Individual Pricing, this position will incorporate all aspects of pricing including profitability analysis, model review, product development, assumption development, and sales reporting.

What you will be doing:
- Assist in the design and pricing of individual life and health products (including Universal Life, Term, Traditional Par and Critical Illness) under an IFRS 17 basis.
- Support profitability analysis for all individual life and health products and recommend product pricing changes as needed to senior management for approval.
- Support the sales and illustration process.
- Assist in the development and production of reports for monitoring sales and product experience.
What’s in it for you:
- A minimum of 3 SOA Exams, and a commitment to complete the FCIA/FSA designation.
- Knowledge of Insurance products is preferred and experience within Individual Life & Health an asset.
- Experience using GGY AXIS actuarial software is preferred.
- Sound computer software knowledge, particularly in MS Excel, MS Access and Visual Basic Macro writing.
- Demonstrated experience multi-tasking within a competing priority environment.
- A strong focus on customer service with excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
