Simple. Inclusive. Natural. Social We are hiring for a temporary role for a Nordic Spa Sales & Marketing Coordinator. This role would be a temporary 3 month term.

Located on the Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge grounds, our Nordic Spa experience is crafted to be as individual as our guests. Achieving Excellence As the Sales & Marketing Coordinator , reporting to the general manager and working closely with the Corporate Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Sales and Marketing team to drive revenue and build lasting relationships with clients. You will achieve excellence by coordinating group bookings, developing local sales partnerships and ensuring seamless collaboration between various departments to exceed customer expectations. Summary Of Responsibilities

  • Act as a primary point of contact for all spa group bookings, responding promptly to inquiries and provide contracts and proposals
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Assist the resort sales team in preparing proposals, contracts, and presentations.
  • Provide detailed and accurate communication to all departments about all sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Regularly monitor and respond to feedback and reviews on various platforms
  • Ensure all marketing materials and communications are consistent with Kananaskis Nordic Spa’s brand guidelines
  • Provide administrative support to the Corporate Marketing team
  • Assist with management of all social media content including content creation, in collaboration with the Corporate Social Media Marketing manager
  • Compile, analyze and present reports on all group, sales, and marketing initiatives
  • Coordinate and execute local event activations, tradeshows and exhibitions working closely with the Corporate Marketing team.
  • Coordinate and execute local sales initiatives, building strong partnerships within the local region to maximize revenue
  • Assist with familiarization trips and site inspection as required
  • Maintain promotional materials inventory, food & beverage menus, and signage, in collaboration with the Corporate Marketing team

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Post-secondary education in Sales & Marketing an asset
  • 2 years' experience in a sales and marketing role preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills required
  • Intermediate skills with Canva
  • Basic skills in opening and manipulating files in Adobe Creative Cloud environments (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Experience with content creation for social media an asset (photography, videography, editing, graphic design)
  • Comfortable with technology and adept at learning new systems
  • A passion for mental and physical wellness

Working Conditions Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Standing or sitting for extended periods
  • Ability to communicate by phone, email, and in person
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling
