Greybrook is a Toronto-headquartered private equity real estate investment firm that invests and actively manages high-quality development-based and value-add opportunities. Greybrook allows individual investors to partner on an equity-basis with leading real estate developers to jointly acquire properties situated in growing urban and suburban markets that meet our investment criteria for new development or asset repositioning. Overview of Position
The Manager, Investor Services is licensed as a dealing representative and works closely to support the business of an Exempt Market Dealer Representative (EMDR) in the management of the Representative’s investor group. The Manager, Investor Services is responsible for compliance and administrative responsibilities that are vital to the investor subscription and funding processes. The individual is expected to provide effective client service at all times, execute business development
initiatives, and facilitate subscription and fund transfers in advance of all project deadlines.
The Manager, Investor Services is expected to be knowledgeable about the investor subscription process, stay informed about the regulatory environment, and are a key source of information for clients. This position will be working in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment, performing duties that are the backbone of operational achievement.
Please note: This is a full-time in-office role.
Responsibilities

Managing the execution of subscription documents and transactions on behalf of the EMDR.

Regular client communication regarding an ongoing offering with respect to the transaction; including all compliance, documentation, funding, and post-close activity.

Ensuring suitability and compliance to regulatory requirements for prospective investors through onboarding processes as well as at a transaction level.

Ensuring investor deadlines are met within an offering (e. g. subscriptions and funding).

Ensure a high level of client service by:
- Managing investor expectations pertaining to offering logistics (deadlines, next steps, etc.)
- Preparing and presenting investor documentation for EMDR (e.g. subscription and compliance documents)
- Presenting investor documentation to the investor, ensuring information is received and understood
- Resolving inquiries and issues in a timely manner and escalating issues to EMDR and VP, Investor Services when appropriate
- Adhering to all corporate and regulatory policies as they relate to a client’s transactions and ensuring accurate documentation of all activities.

Providing recommendations for improvement to business processes.
Qualifications & Competencies

At least 2 years Financial Services experience, preferably in a client facing capacity.

Proficient in Microsoft Office specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Knowledge of office administration duties, and back-office procedures.

Experience with salesforce is an asset.
