About the role.
Our Downtown Toronto location for a Corporate Receptionist to join the team for a full-time permanent position. In this role you will be ensuring the office experience for our employees, guests and vendors is a welcoming experience. Our office is open from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm and is a business casual space. To be successful in our role you like helping people. You pay attention to details. As far as you’re concerned, anything worth doing is worth doing right, every single time. You stay focused and nothing falls through the cracks on your watch. We’re also looking for some experience helping other people solve problems. It doesn’t need to be traditional customer service experience: internships, volunteer work and side projects count. Just make sure we can see where you picked up your helping-people superpowers somewhere in your cover letter or resume.
What you’ll be doing.
- Greeting guests, you’re the first face they see.
- Answer incoming calls, you’re the first voice they hear.
- Book meeting rooms and spare desks (hoteling)
- Manage our general inbox ‘Contact Us’ inbox and re-direct and respond to emails in a timely manner.
- Receive and track all incoming deliveries/packages, notify recipient.
- Light cleaning of kitchen; loading dishwashers end of day before leaving, tidy espresso machine
- Administer security passes (through AXIOM) for all new hires and maintain database for all Toronto employees.
- Drop mail into Canada Post mailbox as required.
- Order food for meetings (upon request)
- Process invoices; Hydro, Enbridge, Bell
- Reconcile expenses in Concur as required
- Monitor inventory and order office supplies for multiple supply rooms
- Tidy supply rooms daily as part of closing duties
- Arrange car service bookings for airport travelers
- Ad hoc projects assigned by the Executive Assistant’s
- Experience using Canva is a bonus as content creation for internal communications is required
What you’ll need to be successful.
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in a customer service role within retail or hospitality.
- Working knowledge Microsoft Office software suite
- Self-starting personality able to handle multiple projects efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Extremely organized, proactive, and detailed oriented.
- Take personal responsibility for their life goals and career development.
- Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovates to achieve great results.
- Communicates with honesty and kindness and creates the space for others to do the same.

Compensation Package*: $42,300.00* - $56,500.00 CAD annually + bonus eligibility
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
