Who are we?

Created in 2009, Novelab offers experiences as well as interactive and immersive installations, mainly in the fields of industry, communication and culture. Halfway between a technology start-up and a content creator, Novelab strives to combine technology with quality stories to create immersive and engaging experiences. Novelab develops or produces original projects such as the mobile game Type: Rider or the VR Notes on Blindness & Spheres experiences. For these projects, we have created specific tools and technologies related to interactivity, audio or image.

Job description

Join our team in Montreal, Canada, and take part in a large-scale project in the field of extended reality. You will work in collaboration with a major player in the aerospace industry to develop an immersive application for the Apple Vision Pro.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will actively contribute to the design, development, and optimization of a highly innovative interactive experience designed for Apple's spatial computing environment.

Your missions

• Design and develop an interactive application in Unity for the Apple Vision Pro

• Integrate the specificities of visionOS into all interfaces and interactions

• Collaborate with artistic, UX/UI design, and technical teams to integrate interactive elements and 3D assets

• Optimize application performance to ensure a smooth mixed reality experience

• Conduct tests, debugging, and validation on headset and in simulation

• Stay up to date on XR, Unity, and visionOS technologies through continuous research

Your profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Unity 3D development (C#), with a strong focus on immersive environments

• Mastery of XR development best practices (AR/VR/MR)

• Experience or good understanding of Apple Vision Pro or visionOS constraints and capabilities

• Strong technical background (optimization, software architecture, graphics pipeline)

• Knowledge of UX/UI design for immersive environments

• Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written)

• You demonstrate autonomy, team spirit, and excellent communication skills
