Stingray, a leading global music, media, and technology company, is seeking a passionate Media Sales Strategist to join our dynamic team in Edmonton, Alberta.
Your day-to-day
- Represent five of the most exciting stations in the Edmonton region – K97 the iconic classic rocker, adult contemporary station 96.3 the Breeze, one of the most popular choices on the dial in Edmonton, plus legendary regional country music powerhouse 840 CFCW, Sports 1440 the new all sports-talk station, and New Country 98.1 in Camrose playing the country hits. You’ll have the opportunity to harness the power of these popular stations, while also representing all Stingray Radio stations from Vancouver to St. John’s, unlocking vast sales potential across a nationwide network!
- Leverage a diverse range of media solutions – including radio, programmatic display, programmatic video, connected TV, digital out-of-home, YouTube, search, social, and our proprietary retail media platform – to help clients grow and succeed
- Own the full sales process: from lead generation and prospecting to client needs analysis, solution presentation, negotiation, and closing
- Drive revenue growth and achieve revenue targets through consultative sales and development of strategic proposals. Manage and grow your client base while identifying new business opportunities
- Collaborate with internal teams (promotions, programming, creative, production, digital campaign managers) to deliver impactful, multi-platform advertising campaigns
Your Qualifications
- You have 2+ years of in-person, consultative B2B sales or account management experience (experience in multi-media advertising or digital media is a plus)
- You’ve consistently achieved and exceeded sales targets
- You are an excellent communicator, presenter, and negotiator
- You build strong, lasting relationships while maintaining professionalism
- You are well-organized, accountable, and skilled at managing time and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- You thrive in a changing environment and approach challenges with a positive, consultative, and optimistic mindset
- You are an Edmonton resident with a valid driver’s license, access to a vehicle, and valid vehicle insurance
