What you will do: Reporting to the Manager, Theatrical Marketing, the Theatrical Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Theatrical Marketing team in Marketing-based initiatives, including execution of programs related to driving awareness of theatre amenities & experiences, guest engagement, coordinating & tracking communication across the digital and in location guest journey for Cineplex theatrical initiatives, and distribution of film specific assets. As a primary point of contact for all theatre requests, the Theatrical Marketing Coordinator ensures all marketing materials align with brand standards, contributing to cohesive & engaging messaging across all guest touchpoints.
This is a hybrid position (3 days in-office weekly). Office location is 1303 Yonge St., Toronto.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance in working with all theatres and coordinating requests related to marketing programs, including signage development, logo requests, in-theatre promotions, and applicable liaising with internal/external stakeholders on creative development, asset production, trafficking & approvals
- Manage & track content mapping across all in-theatre guest touchpoints, including digital screens and internal/external printed assets. This includes ongoing maintenance of internal signage and Film parnter assets tracking the placement and rotation of exterior banners, and leading digital screen channel mapping and aligning messaging priorities.
- Film and Enhanced Experience(s) asset management & coordination with Studios and partners to obtain film-specific marketing materials, ensuring timely distribution to theatres and relevant departments and stakeholders. Supporting the theatrical marketing manager and theatrical marketing team in campaign execution and development where required.
What You Will Need:
- College Diploma in Marketing or Business Administration (minimum)
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration (preferred)
- A minimum of 2-3 years of marketing experience
- Experience taking part in cross functional team-based projects, assuming a lead role in guiding projects from ideation to implementation and managing stakeholder timelines.
- Experience working with creative agencies; from brief writing to managing creative asset development, production, asset management and delivery.
- Experience managing tight timelines, deliverables, and vendor communications
- Strong project management, time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage own workload while multi-tasking to meet deadlines in a fast-changing environment.
- Ability to manage and operate comfortably at a tactical level.
- Ability to skillfully manage conflicting priorities.
- Highly energetic team player with a strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within the Marketing team and cross-functionally with other groups.
- Highly collaborative team player
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Bilingual in English and French, with the ability to communicate effectively and respond to inquiries from in-theatre field teams in both languages (preferred)
