Job Description
As a warehouse labourer you will be responsible for the picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and movement of orders within the warehouse and in preparation for shipment of our iconic Blundstone boots and Glerup slippers to our consumers and retail partners.
Your work involves collaboration with other team members, along with independent daily tasks. This a fun place to work, with really good people.
Responsibilities
· Ensure that daily orders get packed in a timely, efficient and accurate manner.
· Assist in the labelling of orders and putting the correct invoice in with the order and getting the order to the correct bay door, Fed Ex, Purolator or UPS.
· Assist in the restocking of all racks and rows, being mindful of proper stock rotation.
· Assist in the daily cleaning duties.
· Unpacking and restocking of containers.
What to expect in the warehouse:
· All day movement / walking, potentially long periods of standing in one spot.
· Heavy lifting – up to 50 lbs.
· Reaching, lifting, bending, squatting, pulling and pushing for your entire shift.
· Usage of dollies and carts, tape guns, knife cutters.
Work/daily shift details:
In this role, you’ll work full time, 37-44 hours per week.
Rotating shifts, Monday to Friday. Start and End Times Between 8am-6pm
Every other Saturday. Flexibility is key.
The dress code is relaxed with a few rules to follow for safety.
*Blundstone steel toe safety boots are provided to all employees at no charge.
This is a temporary position July through Early/Mid December.
Potential to go permanent based on performance and business levels.
This position requires a reasonable level of physical fitness.
Qualifications: High School

Salary: $19.50 per hour
