Intermediate Civil Construction Estimator
Location: Greater Hamilton Region
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Salary: $70,000 – $95,000 per year

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Taking the lead on large tender bids for parks, pathways, pedestrian bridges, and other civil infrastructure
- Breaking down drawings and specs to build out detailed cost estimates
- Collaborating with suppliers, subcontractors, and teammates to gather pricing and technical input
- Preparing quantity take-offs, bid submissions, and scopes of work
- Participating in value engineering discussions and pre-construction meetings
- Working side-by-side with Project Managers to hand off winning bids smoothly
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of civil estimating experience (parks, trails, bridges, and municipal work are all big pluses)
- You’ve worked on large-scale tender submissions and actually kind of love the pressure
- You know your way around HeavyBid, Bluebeam, Excel, and civil construction drawings
- You’re organized, deadline-driven, and a strong communicator
- A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology or Construction Management is preferred
