Position Summary: The Demand Planner is responsible for developing accurate forecasts associated with the Fox OEM business segment; consolidating customer forecast submissions; reviewing historical sales trends; evaluating forecast variances; and maintaining forecast in the ERP system. The planner will coordinate consensus forecast reviews to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast to reflect updated sales assumptions and market drivers. The planner interacts with sales, supply chain, project management and finance routinely and maintains historical forecast tracking.
Position Responsibilities:
- Utilizes a collaborative, statistical, and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing and Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecasts
- Coordinates customer forecast collection, data compilation and variance review
- Calculates revenue projections using forecast and ensures alignment to current targets
- Facilitates routine meetings with sales to collect subjective customer data and current demand drivers
- Provides input to Supply Chain in developing inventory strategies and ensuring forecast accuracy
- Drives monthly consensus forecast review to support S&OP process and meetings
- Attends S&OP meetings, report on relevant demand drivers and market conditions
- Maintains item attributes and ensure data integrity of product hierarchy
- Monitors trends in forecast error, utilizes subjective and objective data to support decision making
- Ownership of OEM forecasting processes
- Creates and maintains reporting as necessary to support cross-departmental communication
- Provides relevant demand data as needed to support budget activities
- Works routinely with Product Development on new product planning to support NPI
Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:
- Ability to facilitate consensus review meetings with stakeholders expected
- Ability to convert unconstrained forecast into constrained demand plan for production
- Ability to develop and maintain demand planning and data analytics tools utilizing enterprise software, Microsoft Excel, and Power BI as needed
- This position requires strong analytical, organizational, decision making, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential to effectively interact with all teams, areas, and levels of business affecting the forecast process
- Bike industry knowledge and experience a plus
Position Qualifications: Education: BS/BA degree in Business, Computer Science, Industrial or Systems Engineering or a related field
Experience: 2-5 years of experience in demand planning
Experience with Power Query and basic understanding of data modeling preferred
Oracle/SAP Or Other ERP Experience Preferred Power BI report development experience preferred
Work Environment and Physical Requirements: Office Environment
Ability to sit for long periods of time
Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer

$62,596 - $86,070 CAD
The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed above and is the range Fox reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
