Job Summary:

We are seeking a Laborer/Welder's Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong time management and work ethic skills. The successful candidate will need a keen eye for detail and be able to multitask while working efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment

Duties:

• Build, fabricate, and assemble metal structures and components using various techniques
• Read and interpret drawings
• Operating a MIG machine is an asset
• Gain experience with the operation of a Collaborative Robot and Panasonic Welding Robot
• Perform quality inspections on completed welds to ensure they meet the required standards
• Use of crane and forklift is an asset
• Packaging equipment and parts to be sent for coatings
• Assist welders as required
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications:

• Forklift experience is an asset
• Overhead Crane experience is an asset
• Class 5 Drivers License
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift, bench, push, or pull up 50Lbs. unassisted
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
