About the role

Quantum Lifecycle Partners LP is the leading and largest vertically integrated IT Asset Disposition & Recycling processor in Canada. We are committed to enabling safe and secure reuse of electronics, responsible recycling of electronics to divert from landfills, and recovery of natural resources from obsolete electronics.

We are looking for a Plant Coordinator to join our team in Edmonton! They will facilitate the administration function of the division including the processing of accounts efficiently, and providing support to operations, purchasing and facility maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the maintenance of building and mechanical systems to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate external repair work and obtain competitive quotes for parts and services.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels by sourcing necessary parts and supplies.
  • Complete and maintain accurate documentation, including service stickers, preventative maintenance logs, and work orders.
  • Assist with equipment, machinery, and facility repairs as needed.
  • Document and report damage to equipment, providing findings to management for corrective actions.
  • Ensure spare parts availability, vendor coordination, and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Generate and manage purchase orders in the finance system and provide PO numbers to vendors.
  • Prepare and submit maintenance-related reports to management.
  • Monitor and track equipment inventory, ensuring peak performance and timely upgrades.
  • Manage maintenance budgets and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Support supervisors by overseeing daily operations and addressing workflow issues.
  • Proactively resolve problems to maintain smooth and efficient operations.

Qualifications

  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, digital recordkeeping, report generation, and cloud-based collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of building and maintenance management systems.
  • Basic understanding of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
