About the role
A global bank located in Toronto looking to bring on board an “VP, Corporate Compliance Advisory" to join their team. The role is currently in a hybrid schedule (3 days in the office per week).
Responsibilities:
- Manage the annual compliance plan and calendar of activities.
- Support regulatory filings, business registrations, and compliance committee operations.
- Lead CRM Program activities, including:
- Regulatory change monitoring
- Compliance risk assessments
- Issue and incident management
- Monitoring, testing, and reporting
- Drive compliance projects to remediate issues, enhance controls, and address regulatory changes.
- Provide expert advice on regulatory matters (e.g., Bank Act, OSFI, privacy, conflicts of interest).
- Review and advise on new products and business initiatives.
- Oversee compliance policy and procedure management; coordinate with central teams.
- Support data governance, including compliance tools, metadata, and reporting systems.
