We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook/Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and delivering high-quality meals to our customers. Duties:
- Prepare and cook meals according to recipes and portion sizes
- Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient meal service
- Monitor food inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies
- Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent cross-contamination
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
