Role Description
This is a full-time role for an AG District Sales Manager located in the Greater Winnipeg Metropolitan Area. The AG District Sales Manager will be responsible for managing sales activities within the assigned district, achieving sales targets, and developing and maintaining relationships with clients. Daily tasks include prospecting new farms, businesses within the agriculture industry, understanding their needs, providing solutions, and ensuring client satisfaction. The role also involves mentoring and supporting a sales team to achieve collective goals.
Qualifications
- Strong sales and client relationship management skills
- Experience in prospecting and developing new business opportunities
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and support a sales team
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Knowledge of the local market and understanding of small business & AG needs
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field is preferred but not required
- Previous experience in a similar role within the sales industry is an asset
- Competitive spirit and drive will be a key factor
- High EQ and rapport building skills a must
