About the role
We are looking forexperienced officers to work full-time at the Federal Courts (CAS) site in Downtown Vancouver. **Rotation: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
Payrate: $22.45 per hour** Some of your responsibilities include:
- Access Control and Reception duties
- Responding to inquiries from the public
- Assisting with set-up of court room proceedings and provide assistance to staff as required
- Respond to alarms, and maintain a safe environment for all personnel and the public
- Proactively responding to and resolving emergency situations and conflicts
- Following specific emergency and alarm response protocols
- Safely escorting visitors and personnel when necessary
- Maintaining detailed and accurate daily records and logs
- Reviews the daily workbook for pass-over information
- Liaise with the client on all relevant site issues
- Maintain an impeccable level of service and professionalism on this high-profile site
Your Must Haves …
- Valid BC SecurityLicense
- Advanced Security Training (AST)
- OFA 1 Certificate
- 5 years living in Canada for security clearance purposes
- Fluent English written, verbal and reading skills. Fluent French would also be an asset
