Corporate Actuary -Fully Remote!
Our client is an international composite Insurer, with thriving operations in Bermuda, Caribbean, Europe and Canada. They are seeking a driven, and analytically minded individual ready to make a significant impact in the world of Insurance as a Corporate Actuary. In this pivotal role, you'll be immersed in a challenging and rewarding environment, working alongside experienced actuaries and contributing to a wide range of essential functions. You’ll gain invaluable experience across various lines of business, fostering a deep understanding of the composite insurance landscape.
Your Core Responsibilities will include:
Diving into high-impact projectsShaping assumption settingDriving innovationMastering valuation techniques (IFRS 17)Analyzing existing productsNavigating regulatory landscapesContributing to core reportingEmbracing Diverse Challenges

The background our client seeks is as follows:
7-10 years industry experienceFSA / FCIA equivalenceExperience in IFRS 17 Valuation Life, Health, Annuity – (any P&C is a great add on!)Experience with regulatory capital regimes: BMA, SIIBackground in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, finance, or related fields.Excellent analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlinesAdvanced Experience with Microsoft Excel requiredExperience with GGY AXIS considered a bonus (or other actuarial valuation software)Outstanding interpersonal and communication skillsAn interest in working in a highly dynamic environment
