Northern College is seeking an External Relations Liaison in our Marketing, Communications, and External Relations department. The successful candidate will be organized, positive, and engaging. In addition, they will be a self starter, innovative, and a team player.

Reporting to the Director, Marketing, Communications and External Relations, the successful candidate will support relationship building, stakeholder management, fundraising and volunteer coordination for mutual benefit of internal stakeholders and key community groups.
What You Will Be Doing
- Support the College in creating lasting, fulfilling, win-win experiences that form trust-based, giving relationships resulting in greater prosperity, accessibility, and fulfillment for our internal and external audiences;
- Identify possible relations and memoranda of understanding that enhance the student and graduate experience and also support activities that engage alumni and community members;
- Support events and activities that generate funds for student bursaries, projects and initiatives, liaising with donors; and
- Support for the College’s alumni to engage and excite graduates about being part of the College community, supporting the CICan Premier Awards, discount programs for alumni, and experiences and opportunities that further develop the affinity of graduates to the College.

What You Will Need To Be Considered
- 2-year diploma in Business, Marketing, Office Administration, or equivalent/related field;
- One (1) year experience in supporting, developing, organizing and coordinating projects, programs, services and events;
- Experience working with volunteers and community partners, including coordinating and motivating; and
- Experience working in a customer focused environment, developing plans.
