About the Role:
We are looking for a QA Engineer to join our QA/QC team and help ensure the quality and reliability of our products. You will be responsible for testing our data processing pipelines, web applications, and internal tools to ensure functionality, accuracy, and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Design, write, and execute test cases, including functional, regression, integration, and exploratory tests
- Work closely with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and ensure test coverage
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar
- Participate in agile ceremonies to provide QA insights and test planning
- Track, document, and manage bug reports using tools like Jira or GitHub Issues
- Perform end-to-end testing on APIs, user interfaces, and data processing pipelines
- Maintain QA documentation, processes, and environments
- Support CI/CD integration for test automation
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in software QA or testing
- Proficiency in automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress)
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies and testing lifecycle
- Experience testing APIs, web applications, and data systems
- Working knowledge of SQL for data validation
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills for working with cross-functional teams
Nice to Have:
- Experience in health tech or data-focused environments
- Familiarity with Python or R for testing or validation
- Experience with CI tools like GitHub Actions or Jenkins
- Knowledge of data security or compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, PHIPA)
- Experience with load or performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter)
