Reports to: Group Receiving Leader
Responsibilities
-
Receive incoming goods and material, enter log entries into the ERP system, oversee the secure and accurate loading and unloading of deliveries, and manage inventory of received materials and supplies.

Use purchase order as reference checklist for receiving inspection and perform visual check of incoming goods and materials.

Confirm condition, quantity and correctness of materials, goods received and ensure these are identified.

Identify, tag all incoming material, parts, and product.
-
Forward other documents (MTR, certificates, invoices) received with the shipment to relevant department and archive a copy.

Schedule daily receiving appointments with different carriers/couriers, and customers.
-
Track shipments and verify receipts of shipments as required.
-
Perform quality audits of the condition of received goods for both incoming and outgoing items prior to signing off.

Ensure that shipments contain proper documentation and ensure item lists are complete.

Observe all safety rules and promote a safe working environment with team members.
-
Maintain strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
-
Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.

Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.

Other duties as assigned.
Profile
-
College degree related to supply chain or business or one (1) year of work experience in warehouse environment is required
-
Valid forklift license is an asset
-
Proficient computer skills in ERP, SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel), and instructional software
-
Effective written and verbal communication skills
-
An ambitious self-starter with strong desire to grow professional
-
Good interpersonal skills and communication skills to interact with all levels of management
-
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
-
Excellent leadership, team building, and management skill to mentor and lead staff
-
Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
-
NB: Successful candidates will be required to provide photo ID, banking details, a valid SIN number, and (if applicable) a valid work permit
