Under the direction of the Construction Project Manager, the Operations Assistant is responsible and accountable for a wide variety of administrative duties within the Construction Project manager's portfolio of accountabilities to ensure the division meets the overall philosophy and mission of Jarlette Health Services. The Operations Assistant will also support the activities of the Finance Division and other Home Office Divisions as time permits.

The following traits and qualifications are required:
Provide direct administrative and office management support to the director

Establishes working systems to ensure office documentation meets legal and legislative standards

Prepare draft reports, background documentation, and research.

Compile, verify, and record monthly statistics in accordance with established procedures and schedules

Prepare reports, presentations and provide information to operations and staff regarding company and legislative standards, regulations and procedures.

Assist with office equipment supply purchasing contract negotiation

Cares for and monitors the use of all information technology equipment within the department

Participates actively in committees as required

Uses the CQI/Risk Management process to evaluate and ensure follow-up

Promotes strong community linkages for sharing of resources

Familiarity with trends and legislation related to the industry

Assists in the development of policies and procedures, goals and objectives

Supports a culture that provides resources and support to the division locations

Practices in a professional manner

Assists in the development of opportunities for growth and development of the division

Assists with projects related to new business ventures and the coordination of efforts by operations, and appropriate legislative authorities

Monitors industry websites and assists with the maintenance of the corporate website

Other duties as assigned
