About the role

We are a provider of specialized fund administration services for Managers and General Partners of private equity funds, specifically: Buy‐out, Venture Capital, Real Estate and Fund‐of‐ Funds. For new General Partners, we provide consulting services to help accelerate the launch of their funds in addition to our full fund administration services. For established General Partners, we provide administration services and technology to whole fund families or select funds, to help scale their fund operations rapidly and efficiently.

Position Overview:

Exciting opportunity for an AML service professional to join a rapidly growing AML Compliance Team at a fund administration firm! The AML Associate role plays a key role in helping to ensure investors are screened prior to onboarding at Standish Management. The AML Associate will be responsible for identity verification, compiling AML reports, screening subscription documents, preliminary reviews of investors documents, and assisting with other client reports. This role will report directly to the AML Manager. High performers will have the opportunity to progress within the AML Team.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist with fulfilling KYC requirements by providing identity verification
  • Review continuous monitoring alerts and alert the Team Lead of an investor's AML status changes
  • Conduct preliminary reviews of subscription documents to ensure required details/documents have been provided
  • Create KYC reports
  • Collaborate with team members to complete client request
  • Abide by policy and procedure for new AML service offerings

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a client‐oriented professional office environment, preferably in a related industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with all levels of internal and external parties
