Position Purpose The Program Coordinator will support administrative activities in the LPGRC department by assisting the Senior Manager and General Counsel with meeting deadlines and performing tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the department's programs. The Program Coordinator will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support and achieve program goals.
Major Responsibilities The responsibilities of the Program Coordinator include:
- Support legal contract administration and execution.
- Coordinate and execute the annual review and completion of Infoway Governance, Risk, Compliance and Privacy training and declaration programs.
- Work with internal stakeholders to gather data and verify accuracy of insurance renewal application requirements.
- Provide organizational support to the Privacy Impact Assessment Program. Gather relevant materials and coordinate with stakeholders to complete reports and implement risk management action plan.
- Assist in other areas of the Infoway Privacy Program (for ex: planning, administration and execution of annual privacy forum).
- Work with policy owners and subject matter experts to coordinate the review, approval and communication of Infoway corporate policies.
- Assist in the planning, preparation and execution of Board and Committee materials.
- Act as delegate in meetings to take notes and otherwise inform the LPGRC program of BU activities/initiatives.
- Coordinate resourcing and prioritization requests.
- Research and preparation to assist the General Counsel.
- Assist Program and General Counsel in preparing for meetings (internal and external) - Excellent PowerPoint skills.
- Support direct team members with daily tasks when needed.
- Perform other tasks as may be needed from time to time.
Education
- Undergraduate Degree, Management or related field.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently – described as a self-starter and proactive worker.
- Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with situations where information is difficult to obtain, complex, or ambiguous.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple project deliverables/tasks of varying subject matter simultaneously.
- Proficient in planning and program coordination.
- Ability to collaborate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Flexible to provide after-hours support from time to time.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe).
- Experience or education in Privacy domain an asset.
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.
