Our client is an industry leader in gas and fluid process solutions who brings together technical specialists to help organizations optimize their performance across multiple market sectors. They offer a comprehensive portfolio including OEM equipment, technical services, integrated systems, and equipment rebuilds, with manufacturing facilities that produce precision parts and metallurgy upgrades. What sets them apart is their ability to provide complete life-cycle support for process equipment, solving challenging issues from capital projects to asset optimization and quality rebuilds that ensure infrastructure operates safely and efficiently.

Who You Are:

You're a talented Technical Sales Representative who excels at generating and developing leads. You build solid relationships with stakeholders, and customers view you as a true partner. You combine technical knowledge with strategic sales thinking, and you're genuinely interested in understanding what our customers do. Your mission is to maintain relationships with current customers while attracting new clients to partner with our client. You enjoy challenges and learning new things. Rather than waiting for work to find you, you actively seek new opportunities. You're comfortable with travel and excited by the pursuit of new business

About the Role:

  • Identify business opportunities and approach potential clients to educate them on products
  • Develop territory and account plans to achieve sales targets
  • Determine customer needs through industry knowledge and competitive awareness
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospects and current clients
  • Provide support and guidance to clients, recommending new opportunities when appropriate
  • Meet booking targets and manage sales pipeline and key accounts
  • Stay current on industry trends to identify product improvements
  • Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, networking, and publications
  • Help create proposals and quotes as needed
  • Travel to client meetings, tradeshows, and industry events

Required Experience:

  • Post-secondary education in mechanical or engineering fields
  • 5+ years of inside or outside sales experience
  • B2B experience selling industrial products and solutions
  • Experience with mechanical seals, pumps, blowers, instrumentation and related process
  • equipment is a plus
  • Experience working with municipalities required, including understanding of applications and
  • solutions
