We are currently seeking a 12 month Contract, Full-Time Production Planning Associate to join our team!

Location – 2400 Skymark Avenue, Mississauga ON Position Summary Fresenius Kabi – Hospital Compounding is a dynamic organization dedicated to Producing high-quality products. We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Planning Associate to oversee and optimize our production schedules to ensure efficient operations and timely delivery. This Role will be reporting to the Manager – Production Planning and Customer Service.

The Production Planning Associate is responsible for creating, managing, and adjusting production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels, and resource availability. This role collaborates closely with Production, Procurement, Releasing, Quality, Marketing and Warehouse logistics teams to ensure production targets are met efficiently and effectively.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned with customer orders and forecasted demand.
  • Coordinate with procurement and manufacturing teams to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
  • Monitor production progress and adjust plans as needed to address delays or changes in demand.
  • Optimize production workflows to maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency, lead times, and capacity utilization.
  • Communicate production plans and updates to relevant departments and stakeholders.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve production throughout.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation for reporting and compliance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the production process.
  • Creates and Maintains Holiday Schedule tracking and Improvements.
  • Able to schedule effectively according to transit times and rural planning.
  • Collates and Verifies MBR’s related to the Planning Functions for Picking.
  • Maintains up-to-date training designated for this position and training documents.
  • Any related tasks as required.

Working Conditions

  • Physical Effort: Prolonged sitting for extended periods in front of a computer.
  • Physical Environment: The office area is comfortable, well-lit, and properly ventilated.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or college diploma in a relevant discipline plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Prior experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP expert Planning and pulling Reports
  • Proficient in Excel and Analyzing Data.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a Manufacturing environment relevant to the company’s industry.
  • Proficiency with Production planning software, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite.
  • Preferred experience in production planning, manufacturing, or operations background.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent customer service skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels both inside and outside the organization.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office /Excel /PowerPoint/Access
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and handle fluctuating workloads.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent continuous improvement skills
  • Proven ability to adhere to standards & procedures and maintain confidentiality.
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
