You are... An experienced sales professional who knows how to build strong relationships and close deals. You understand the media and advertising landscape, especially within sports, and you’re comfortable navigating conversations with both brands and agencies. You’re proactive, goal-oriented, and capable of managing a sales pipeline from outreach to signed contract. You care about delivering value to partners and take pride in doing great work with a great team.

You will...

  • Be a key member of The Nation Network’s sales team.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including account management, marketing, production, and content, to create customized advertising and sponsorship packages that meet partner objectives.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, presentations, and contracts to partners, effectively communicating the value proposition of our media platforms and offerings.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with partners to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs to position The Nation Network as a leader in sports media.
  • Track sales activities, pipeline, and revenue forecasts using CRM software, providing regular updates to management.

Job requirements

You have...

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related field and/or equivalent experience in a senior level sales position.
  • Experience working with ad agencies and media buyers
  • Proven track record of success in media sales, advertising sales, or related field, with a minimum of 3 -5 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of the sports media landscape, including digital media and live events.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Google Slides / Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Sheets / Microsoft Excel.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
