Job Description :

Reporting to Mr. Timmy Jones, Coordinator of administrative services, auxiliary services and student services, the incumbent will perform a variety of administrative and customer service duties for the academic and continuing education sectors of the college.

What you'll conquer every day

  • Answer, transfer, and place telephone calls and provide information of a general nature.
  • Greet, inform, and guide students and visitors to the Campus in accordance with established procedures.
  • Prepare various texts and graphs using word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Provide all photocopying services (except exams).
  • Receive and distribute in-coming mail including internal mail from students and staff.
  • Prepare outgoing mail and bring mail to the main post-office on occasion.
  • Enter all room reservations on the central room reservation system.
  • Post notices on the bulletin boards.
  • In charge of the ‘Lost and Found’ objects of the students
  • Distribute mailbox, office and elevator keys and provide photocopier access codes.
  • Keep a registry to monitor the lending of the ‘Master Key’.
  • Distribute and collect all types of forms from the students.
  • Report malfunctioning of parking system to the Buildings and Grounds personnel.
  • Control parking gates for visitors from the reception computer.
  • Distribute and collect fees for printing and photocopy cards.
  • Receive faculty absence notices and enter information in the system

  • Provide when needed support to the administrative and auxiliary services coordinator
  • Perform all other related tasks

Requirements :

What makes you the one

  • A diploma of vocational studies (DEP) in an appropriate specialty or a secondary school diploma or have a diploma or an attestation of studies which is recognized as equivalent by the competent authority.
  • Great attention to detail;
  • Show confidentiality;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Ability to establish interpersonal relationships and to work in a team;
  • Proficient in English and French, both oral and written;
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Ability to work with online platforms;
  • Knowledge of the Cégep network.

Required Tests : Language test

Work Schedule : 35 hours per week

Salary Scale : Between 24,36$ and 27,24$ per hour

Anticipated Start Date : 2025-07-09
