About the role
OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Shipping Manager, the Order Shipper ensures that orders are prepared and shipped without errors, efficiently and in a timely manner for our customers.
Will perform other related duties as requested by his immediate superior, all in accordance with internal procedures and rules.
RESPONSABILITIES
Pack merchandise 90 %
- Apply invoices and shipping labels on merchandise.
- Collect and verify that all items and goods are included in the shipments.
- Prepare shipments and shipping orders for transport companies.
- Load, unload, sort and move the goods by hand or by using pallet.
- At the verification station, ensure that the documents correspond to the goods.
- Gather boxes of accessories from the warehouse store and ensure that they are placed with the right orders.
- Attach and wrap the products for shipping
Health & Safety 5 %
- Be compliant with the standards and business procedures as well as enforcing the health and safety laws.
- Ensure that work areas and equipment are kept clean and organized at all times.
Other 5 %
- Participate in the annual inventory.
- Complete various reports.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or vocational training an asset.
- One year experience in a similar position an asset.
- Proficiency in spoken and written French is essential. Knowledge of English may be required depending on the needs of the position.
- Having work boots would be essential.
- Forklift operator credentials would be an asset.
- Being able to do repetitive tasks.
- Able to work in an environment where the temperature varies
- To have good physical endurance, being able to regularly move the goods that are 60 lbs. and over.
