Role Description
This is a remote internship role for a Business Development Representative at Waveroom. The Business Development Representative will be responsible for inside sales, lead generation, communication, sales, and business development activities on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications
- Build and sustain Waveroom Media’s relationships with Local Advertisers
- Book and lead client meetings as required to better understand client needs
- Develop a strong understanding of Waveroom Media’s brand, services, and competitive edge
- Identify, research, and proactively engage new business opportunities both locally and provincially
- Research potential clients and identify opportunities for Waveroom Media
- Assess a client’s advertising requirements and successfully align sales opportunities
- Consistently develop sales strategies to expand reach
- Perform ongoing outbound sales calls to new prospects
- Act as a direct point of contact for incoming business inquiries and meet with potential clients to understand objectives and find innovative solutions
- Continuously perform geographic-specific market analysis to ensure sales offerings are competitive within the industry
