The Cam Clark Auto Group is seeking a results-oriented Outside Parts Sales Representative for our Dearborn Ford Kamloops location in British Columbia.

In the position of Outside Parts Sales Representative reporting to the Parts Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our extensive range of automotive parts to clients in the automotive industry. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, identifying their needs, and providing tailored solutions. This role requires a combination of excellent sales skills, technical knowledge of automotive parts, and exceptional customer service abilities. You will be expected to travel within your assigned territory and achieve sales targets.

You will be accountable for:

· Contacting automotive shops, fleet, and body shops.

· Developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients in the automotive industry.

· Actively engaging with customers to identify their parts’ requirements and provide appropriate recommendations.

· Generating sales leads and follows up on potential opportunities.

· Providing accurate and timely price quotations, negotiating terms, and processing sales orders.

· Collaborating with internal teams to ensure efficient order processing, inventory management, and delivery of parts.

· Staying updated on industry trends, new product releases, and competitor activities.

· Attending trade shows, industry events, and client visits as required.

· Meeting and exceeding sales targets and contributing to the overall growth of the company.

· Traveling to surrounding areas. A vehicle will be provided.

· Any other duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

· Have your High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.

· Have two years or more of proven experience in automotive parts sales or a similar sales role.

· Have a valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.

· Have strong knowledge of automotive parts, including their applications, compatibility, and technical specifications.

· Have exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

· Be willing to travel two (2) weeks per month (1 night per 2 weeks is overnight, which is every 2nd week)

· Be able to lift 50 lbs. or greater

· Be self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

Pay Range: Minimum: $ 80,000 to Maximum: $ 100,000 per year

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

Work Hours: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Total Hours per week: 40 hours
