Job Title: Line Cooks and Prep Cooks
Location: Greater Toronto Area (On-Site)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Compensation: $18.50 – $20.00 per hour + tips + overtime pay
About the Opportunity
Hirez Manpower Solutions Inc. is hiring Line Cooks and Prep Cooks on behalf of leading hospitality employers across the Greater Toronto Area . This is a great opportunity for individuals with culinary skills to join professional kitchen teams, gain long-term employment, and advance their careers in Canada’s food service industry.
We welcome applications from all qualified candidates currently residing in Canada, including those with valid Open Work Permits who may benefit from immigration support .
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to standardized recipes
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control meet company standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely service
- Support kitchen operations, including inventory and supply coordination
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of relevant experience or education in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or Food Services
- Functional English language proficiency (CLB 5 or higher recommended)
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to perform in fast-paced environments
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive hourly wage: $18.50 – $20.00
