Job Description Job summary: In this role, you’ll build strong customer relationships, drive new business, and represent top-quality exterior building products across your region. Residential Sales Specialist position is ideal for a motivated sales professional with strong relationship-building skills and a solid understanding of customer needs in the building materials industry.

Job responsibilities:
- Manage, support and build relationships with existing customers as well as develop new customers
- Grow new business and expand market share by providing solutions to the needs of current and future contractors, architects and customers by converting them away from competitor products
- Educating customers and staff on products; managing customer sample & educational stock levels
- Managing customer payments & credit in coordination with credit managers, including collections, credit recommendations, and AR adjustments within set rules
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the roofing industry would be considered an asset
- College Diploma or Degree (in Business/Sales/Marketing preferred) and/or 3 or more years of successful Sales experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problem solver with the ability to handle difficult situations
- Authorized to work in Canada
- Ability to travel
