About the role
Reporting to the Director of Sales, Eastern Canada, you’ll be responsible for driving toward a future where every Canadian can achieve financial security in retirement. Today, people working for small and mid-sized employers are left to build retirement savings on their own—this leads to inefficient savings and poor outcomes. You will work on cross functional teams to deliver a trusted, and comprehensive retirement offering that supports members from their first contribution to their last withdrawal. Your work will directly contribute to creating better retirement outcomes and a more inclusive financial future for all.
What you'll do:
- Own the post-sale client journey:
- You’ll lead the client experience from the moment a deal closes, partnering with Account Executives to ensure a smooth and engaging onboarding process. You’ll build trusted relationships with key stakeholders—typically CEOs, HR leaders, and finance leads of small to mid-sized businesses and nonprofits—delivering value from day one.
- Lead onboarding and implementation:
- You’ll guide new employers and their teams through a seamless transition onto the Common Wealth platform. This includes coordinating kickoff meetings, running check-ins, supporting employee education sessions, and being the main point of contact for clients and their advisors.
- Drive ongoing client success:
- You’ll manage a portfolio of clients post-onboarding, focused on ensuring strong adoption, satisfaction, and retention. You’ll conduct regular reviews, anticipate client needs, and proactively solve issues to reduce churn and maximize impact.
Who you are:
- Relationship-first and collaborative:
- You build strong connections with clients and colleagues alike, thriving in a team-driven culture where cross-functional collaboration is key.
- Mission-driven:
- You’re passionate about helping Canadians retire with confidence and energized by contributing to a purpose-led company that’s transforming retirement planning.
- Clear, confident communicator:
- You’re comfortable engaging senior business leaders, running education sessions for groups of all sizes, and tailoring your message to different audiences. You actively practice and refine your delivery to ensure clarity and impact.
- Independent and organized:
- You excel at managing multiple moving pieces, keeping onboarding and client relationships on track without needing close oversight. You’re proactive, adaptable, and thrive in fast-moving environments with some ambiguity.
- Curious and coachable:
- You’re eager to learn, ask great questions, and welcome feedback. You adapt quickly and are always looking for ways to improve.
- Detail-oriented and data-minded:
- You understand the value of precision. You pay attention to the details and use evidence to guide decisions and deliver consistent, high-quality results.
Why work with us:
Common Wealth is a fast-growing company with a mission to change the lives of Canadians. You’ll be joining a dynamic and flexible work environment where you have the autonomy to shape your role. You’ll have ample opportunities to learn, grow, and advance within the organization while contributing to improving the Canadian retirement landscape.
Working at Common Wealth provides you the opportunity to work in a high-growth business that is changing the lives of Canadians.
Benefits include:
- Competitive salary
- Health and dental benefits
- Health spending account
- 5% employer match into one of our award-winning group retirement plans
- 4 weeks of vacation
- Brand new Macbook
- Home office stipend
- Learning & Development Budget
