Account Manager, Personal Lines

Job Overview

We are currently looking for an Account Manager, Personal Lines to join our team in our Calgary office. You will collaborate with Account Producer(s)/Marketer(s) regarding client needs and recommend solutions with respect to placement, terms and policy conditions. This position requires a positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high paced environment. Stong Customer Service and VIP experience for our client base is a must.

Responsibilities

  • You will engage verbally and electronically with our clients to determine their needs, provide expert advice and ensure the best coverage for them;
  • Experience with supporting VIP clientele.
  • Experience with Auto, Home, boat, recreational, and umbrella policies
  • You will develop new business opportunities;
  • You will manage all aspects of an existing book of personal lines clients, including reviewing, cross selling of products and remarketing;
  • You will respond to all customer and company inquiries by providing effective and efficient customer service to verbal and written enquiries;
  • You will manage and process renewals on a timely basis and maintain high levels of client retention.
  • All other duties as required.

Who You Are

  • Minimum of 5 years of Personal Lines experience; construction experience is an asset.
  • Level 2 insurance license; CAIB, CIP, FCIP, or CRM designation is considered an asset.
  • Self-starter, highly organized with exceptional attention to detail, and able to manage multiple priorities/deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and/or Applied Epic.
  • Friendly professional demeanor with strong business acumen.
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment and work well with others.
  • Driven to succeed and able to represent our brand in all insurance interactions.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Comfortable multitasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance.
  • Punctual with a strong attendance history.
