The Role: Manager, Financial Services (Edmonton) Role The Manager, Financial Services will oversee retail lending, deposits, and overall service delivery for Peace Hill's Edmonton branch in Alberta. This role involves strategic leadership, staff development, and operational oversight, with a focus on meeting the financial needs of clients while adhering to company policies and regulatory standards. The successful candidate will also actively engage with the community, participating in marketing initiatives and fostering relationships. Specifically, you will:
- Hire, lead, and develop a highly motivated and well-trained service team, ensuring alignment with service promises and standards.
- Identify client financial needs and recommend tailored financial solutions to clients alongside your team.
- Drive policy, procedure, and product development for financial services.
- Participate in marketing campaigns, community initiatives, and internal committees to promote organizational goals.
The Ideal Candidate
- 8+ years of experience in financial institutions, including administration and sales of deposit and lending products.
- Experience selling consumer lending products, including personal mortgage, lines of credit, and personal loans.
- 5+ years of leadership experience, including supervision and performance management.
- Strong understanding of the selling and administration of deposit products including GICs, TFSA, RIF, RRSP.
- A diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution or equivalent.
- Strong preference will be given to candidates with personal or professional experience with Indigenous communities or populations.
What They Offer (based On Experience Level)
- Compensation: $75K - $110K salary + 10% bonus
- Paid time off: 4+ weeks
