Grade**:** SGEU.06.

The Ministry of Highways, Bridges and Materials Branch is seeking a Trades Helpers. As part of a Bridge Crew in Prince Albert, you will provide bridge construction expertise, including concrete work, carpentry, welding, steel repairs and crane rigging. You will also operate heavy equipment such as tandem trucks, backhoes, semi-trucks and trailers and other various construction equipment.

To qualify for this position:

  • You must hold a valid class 1A driver's license;
  • Experience in the operation of heavy-duty motor equipment;
  • Experience in driving tandem trucks and trailers;
  • Ability to be away from headquarters on a weekly basis; and
  • Must be physically fit for this demanding position, which involves heavy lifting.
