SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Mt Seymour is a winter and summer recreation area located in North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
We are currently recruiting for shuttle bus drivers to help support our summer camp program, with the potential to continue on for the winter season. We are looking for someone who is patient yet firm, dependable and safety minded.
The Shuttle Bus Driver is responsible for the safe operation of the Mt Seymour Shuttle bus as it carries camp participants to and from the Mountain.
THIS POSITION IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF:
- You can ensure the safe and efficient operation of the shuttle bus.
- You can operate the shuttle bus in accordance with resort schedules.
- You can communicate with Management regarding occupancy of the shuttle bus and any schedule updates due to traffic delays.
- You can maintain the cleanliness of the shuttle.
- You can identify the maintenance needs of shuttle buses and maintain open communication with Vehicle Maintenance Department.
- You can perform pre and post trip inspections.
- You keep neat and accurate records.
- Other related duties as required.
WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU:
- Minimum Class 2 BC License with air brake endorsement.
- Excellent communication and guest service skills.
- Ability to be a supportive team member.
- Ability to follow directions and work unsupervised.
- BC Drivers Abstract.
- Must pass a criminal records check.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- Full time or part time seasonal (June 30th-August 29th 2025)
- Starting at $156-$208/day dependent on assigned route.
- Shifts include 1 AM pick up and 1 PM drop off with a split in between.
- Complimentary season pass and shuttle bus pass.
- Range of industry discounts and perks.
Interviews will be conducted early June
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 months
Pay: $156.00-$208.00 per day
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- driving: 1 year (preferred)
- School & Paratransit Bus Drivers: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Class 2 driver's license (required)

Located in the Mt Seymour Provincial Park on Ch'ich eliwxih Mountain (also known as Mount Seymour), the ski and snowboard area's proximity to the Pacific Ocean, eastern aspect, and the high base elevation provide an average annual snowfall of over 1,000cm.
Mt Seymour acknowledges that it operates on the unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples, including the territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
